What Joy and Ecstasy you brought?
Reminiscing on your splitting image
Your smile and endless love
Spell to me memories I buried
From the countless challenges
To the short unforseen ones
As the wind whispers dirges
And the night woes, the Grecian chorus
My pride dashed in pieces
Death kicked me in the groins
My eyes are blurry
My heart is heavy
The brother I always had
Gone like a candle in the wind.
Felix Paul was more than a cousin to myself and siblings. He was our big brother. He was an embodiment of love. We had lots of plans and alas! He left unannounced. I make this solemn promise. Which is to continue from where you stopped. Empower all the grandchildren of the AC Paul dynasty as planned. You are a rare gem my brother. You’ll be missed. I’m contented with the fact that you lived a good life and made peace with your maker. We cannot question God as to why the good are taken from us and the bad left to dwell in our midst. Rest In Peace soldier. Soar with angels my big brother and friend. In our next life, I still want to be your younger brother. I am so proud to have basked under your umbrella while growing up.
