Felix Paul's Obituary
Born in the ancient city of Benin-City in Midwest Nigeria on August 17, 1980, Felix Paul began his short journey through life. Felix was the first grandson of Prince and Mrs Alexander Paul, who raised him like their last child from infancy after his father passed. It was from here Felix learned the Christian values of life and love for humanity, which he always treasured. He grieved the death of his grandma until he took his last breath.
Felix loved school and promptly followed the family tradition of college education. After graduation as a geologist from the Delta State University, Felix enrolled at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology. In 2017, he migrated to the United States of America as a migrant to join his mom and other siblings, and to continue his life pursuits. Once in the United State, Felix engaged in various economic activities in oil exploration to earn a living and soon after, made a decision to pursue a doctorate degree in Geology and marry his engaged partner this Christmas. But before he could attain any of these goals, death took him from us all in the most sudden manner. On November 4, 2021, Felix passed after a brief illness.
Felix was a very hardworking and sacrificial person to family and friends. All who knew him closely will miss his delightful candor and will remember the wonderful memories they have shared with him.
Felix Paul will always be remembered as a loving, ever giving son by his mom, Liz, and as a caring brother by his siblings, Robert and Leslie. Alex, Maris and Jossie will miss the times they spent with him as children and confidants. His other uncles and aunts will miss him so dearly as a loving last sibling, and not a nephew.
Today, his family and friends are grieving because they have always had a special place in their hearts for Felix - a handsome, selfless gentleman with the most beautiful mind. Oh, why do good people die young?
We still give God all the glory for the time spent with us all. Together, we bid you farewell and wish you good luck in the afterlife. Rest peacefully in the bosom of God Almighty.
