Well, it's late now and everyone has gone back to their perspective houses after a tremendous time of heartfelt celebration for an amazing Woman of God....Our Mother, Grammy, Sister, and Friend Mama Glo. Words escape me and would probably be inadequate to describe our time together. Our spiritual discussions about the Word and how I need to really trust God for the assignment he has given me...How I can use my B-day money you would send me to buy more fancy neckties...Bahahahaha !! But most of all how important it is to keep our family covered in prayer... The responsibility of being a " Watchman " over our family...And to be true to what God has called me to do...You would always tell me God knows just ask him and he will tell you! … There are NO secrets in the Father's kingdom....Thank you for trusting me with Karen's hand in marriage at such a young age and the "Toothpick " talk we had way back on Stanley...
I'll hold on to our discussions, even when did not agree ... and you would say, " OK well Praise God. " The times you would share with me about what God was instructing you to pray about for the family's well being...Your love for us all flowed so naturally. No matter if you had just seen us a few days ago or every six months or even if it had been a couple of years because you had been praying for us it never seemed to be any distance between visits to you, you just picked up where you left off with that person ... Because your closeness was developed thru prayer for them in the realm of the Spirit and that made up the difference between natural visits.... I remember when you told me that your assignment had changed and you were being led to pray for your family during this season of your life. I was honored that God would assign one of his Chief Intercessors to pray for us as their assignment ...And even as you began to explore the Messianic Teachings of the Bible( TORAH) you had become exposed to your could not wait to share with any of us of who would listen what the Father was sharing with you by Holy Spirit!
Mama Glo, I could sit here all night and share my heart with you and those who would read this post, but I won't ... just know that I was ALWAYS paying attention cause I wanted you to be proud of me.... I'll be forever indebted to you and will honor you all the days of my life...I am proud to be part of your LEGACY! I'll end my incessant ramblings on a lighter note ... A private laugh between the two of us. Here you go ready, ...
