Hardy Leenders was a magnificent man. I first met Hardy as a temporary employee on loan from our home office in the Netherlands. He loved the United States and was so joyful to be working with us. As an employee he worked tirelessly and exemplified the word humility. He never took credit for his accomplishments, always pointing to his teammates, that's just who Hardly was. He never said a bad word about anyone, I believe it's how he saw life, while on a major Project in Tennesse he told me about this beautiful woman he met Julie, he was head over heels in love. I asked if he would like to join our team in the USA permanently and he was so incredibly happy. I met with his loving parents and assured them I would look out for him, I could see they were sad to let him go, yet happy for him to realize his dreams. Meeting them I could see why he was so special. His smile and attitude were infectious. Many years after I left our company, he stayed in touch, and even surprised me with a visit to my office in Florida, it brought me so much joy that I mattered to him. He had that way of making you feel special. I had never met anyone in my life like Hardy, He taught me so much. He was a magnificent man.

Lieve Hardy,
Jij liet jouw dromen uitkomen 🤩
Love you
Your sista ❤️

Dear Hardy,
Believing that everything would be allright
Believing we would still have plenty of time
How wrong was I 😔
Loving, reliable, caring, always positive, strong, a tower of strength and so much more - these words are actually not enough to describe your spirit.
It was special that we were always on the same page without having to convince each other of anything.
You made your dreams come true 🤩
My dear brother, you can be proud of yourself.
Your very last smile is etched in my memory.
I will never forget that and neither will forget you.
I'm going to miss you bro.....
Love you
Your sista ❤️
Liefs
