My heart weeps over the loss of a woman that I was so privileged in playing ball with on my Elgin High School basketball team. She was my post player, and I can vividly remember driving in,…then I’d dump the ball off to her in the lane, and then I’d watch her work her magic as she would score time and time again with such ease and grace no matter who the opponent. A magnificent teammate!! An even more magnificent friend…. A true inspiration to so many… and as she lives on in our hearts, she will continue to inspire us all….
