Uncle Marlon, I have only known about your passing for a few months now. I was telling my father how difficult it is to grieve when so much time has passed already. I wish we did not lose contact. For nearly 30 years, Marlon and I wove in and out of each other's lives, from Kaiser in Oakland to So Cal and then Texas. During the highs and the lows, he was there. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there when he needed me most.

Marlon, Marlon this is a hard pill to swallow. I just saw you on Thursday and your locker, now you’re gone on Friday. Life is so full of surprises, that why we should love one another. I’m goi g to miss teasing you about all the unhealthy food that you brings into dispatch. One thing I can say about Marlon was he had a good Spirit, Heart and just a people person.
