I was Sam's asst. principle at Turning Point Jr. High in Arlington. Sam was very knowledgeable and worked hard to see a positive change in students. When I had a heart attack several years ago, I can remember him rushing through the door and falling to his knees in front of the couch where I was lying. His words of encouragement and multiple visits will stay with me for ever. Sam was a beautiful person and will be greatly missed by friends as well as his family. Sam may not physically be with us but we know that he is in God's house reviewing angels for sports teams.
